Has anyone tried using Illustrator CS2's new features?
I just got the CS2 bundle and was excited about 2 new features for Illustrator.
2 Interesting new features are a real boon to newbies to the Vector world. Live
Trace and Live Paint. Live Trace basically Interprets a raster image into a
vector. Better for line art than shaded or color images. I might use it on some
of my hand drawn images to neaten them up.
Live Paint is so simple to use, and works with a raster images just as well as a
collection of vector lines. If you understand how the Paint Bucket tool works in
photoshop, or any other Raster graphic program, you already know how to use Live
Paint's Paint bucket tool. It has a gap fill feature that works relatively well
too. Basically, you can paint and fill Line Art.

etc.) and how they affect the stills of the images we take? What about the NTSC
and PAL standards (and their digital / HDTV counterparts)?

Shouldn't be a surprise that I'm interested in this stuff... after all, my
personal web site is littered with my screencaps.
Is this the episode/scene that Subaru waits for Tsukasa or when they are all in
the NetSlums? (just trying to narrow it down.). The one at the end of
"The Eve" or episode 22 when everyone is waiting... That song is
entitled "A Thousand and One Nights", the mini-CD disc on te
Liminality album.

Fiction album when I came across Yuki
Kajiura's Official Web page The information on her discography is a lot
more than what I put up.... But... I can't read Japanese... so I can only figure
out a poriton of it.
And Yes, "My" - HiME is composed by Yuki. I can figure enough of her
discography page to confirm this. Also "World of Narue" was composed
by her. Wasn't mentioned in US album as it went to press before she started
this series work. (recognized image from album cover)

the offical site for 2 reasons. One. It's her site! and we should know of it.
#2, She's going to update her own site more frequently. I.e. will be the most
up to date.
I still don't have much time to browse with work this week and weekend. So

Which theme from .hack//SIGN is everyone talking about? Is it the opening /
closing song. "The World" when Tsukasa wakes up in Episode 1?
"Key of the Twilight"?
It's ok if you don't know the song title, but please try and describe the scene
its at... and maybe episode # if you remember. It should make it easier to
identify the song.

About the only thing I could add to it is the loss of the 7th note (Ti) could be
considered the loss of 'sin' or evil.
I got interested in the show from mt... and now the DVDs are out. But is it
wrong to feel sad in the first scene for Lucy? I mean, it's like saying you
feel sorry for a killer as she's butchering people. (They are attacking
her...)
Oh and to the guy on a TechTV forum about the exploding cat scene in Boogiepop
Phantom being "cool". It's not... it has nothing over Lucy's vicious
escape.

I, in fact, like that you mention some instruments. I think on of Yuki's gifts
is putting together accoustical type instruments with digital synths. Before I
learned of Yuki Kajiura, I was only a fan of Information Society, specifically
Kurt Harland (Valaquen RPG handle, Vector on web)... but songs had gotten
depressing during the 4th album.
Madlax OSTs? Still don't have it. I'll have to relisten to the DVD again and
figure out what these character themes are. I believe MADLAX's action one is
called "Nowhere" by FictionJunction yuuka. (Of course song written,
scored and arranged by Yuki Kajiura, or I wouldn't have brought it up).
Just submitted a new Vector image. Yohko Yamamoto Bang! I
still intend to do more touch up work when my work schedule permits, which seems
like another month or two.

Um, At first I thought I was being singled out, not having this vector image up
(or my Little image too).... but as I can see some of the "recent" *
are only around some posted 9 weeks ago, not 5 weeks like this post note is.

Not a double post! Found a rip from a Desktop Anime! wallpaper I used on as a
wallpaper back in 2002. Pretear
They did go through the effort of removing the logo... but that's it. Pixel
content should be over 80% similar... and if not, its because it was JPEG image
damage.
I have a not so hypothetical question. What should we, as memembers of the
"Stop-Rippers" group do when we see a new member who isn't quite sure
what the rules are for posting images and wallpapers? Do we warn them? Do we
alert the gallery moderators? Do we do nothing (points to Kei-kun's post)?
Personally, I believe in prevention whenever possible.
I recently stumbled across a new member who has posted 2 things, one wallpaper
from another site with URL under Scans. I wanted to help guide the person,
but I am not sure if I said too much or too little. To her credit, she does NOT
take credit for these works. So please don't put her on the "black
list" or if you do, you should put my ID next to hers (for these first 2
submissions).

What the!? People are posting wallpapers you've made (some are listed in you're
6 most favorite) that you've posted already on the site. On my personal sites,
I've given up policing the net for my media (mostly Cardcaptor Sakura files).
But when it's a community thing, and someone posts it ... as said above? That's
beyond intollerable. I make sure to avoid this that I personally only post my
work or my personal scans.
If there are works I want to share with others, I just post links on my site or
user page.
I know I've found some wallpapers done by other members on some sites. I came
accross one that was basiclly a person (assuming a guy) who posts his hard
drive's directory on line. After I post this, I'm going to request to join this
group.

AnimEast wallpaper site too. Removed background for my personal use with
banners and such. But I like Riku, Daisuke, Wiz/With and the later episodes of
Risa Harada.
