I'm wondering if the first computer (the one that says 6s ago) is getting its
information from a Proxy Server. Since the proxy server's cache is on another
machine, and does not get cleared when you flush/delete your internet
cache/cookies. Internet accelerators could cause this sort of problem.
But it's odd that one computer would be on a proxy server and not another in the
same network.

Pen tools take a lot of getting used to, but it is well worth it if you can
become proficient in using this tool. Personally, my hand isn't that steady to
draw using a mouse (or now even a tablet... ) and
find it super useful.
When using the pen tool, there are some techniques I find particularly useful
and they are universal with Windows/Mac and Illustrator/Photoshop. First is
Alt-clicking. If you "Alt-Click" one of those bars from the anchor
points, you can stretch and shrink them to adjust the curve/arch it makes. These
bars do not have to make a straight line.
If you "Alt-Click" an Anchor Point, it removes those bars, and you can
adjust them to make a curve again. Or, you can "Undo" (Ctrl-Z
[windows]/Command-Z[Mac]/Edit menu option...) and you will have that anchor
point selected and you can Alt Click the bars. Another intresting thing you can
do with while Alt-Clicking the anchor points is to keep the mouse button
pressed, release the "Alt" key and press your spacebar. While the
Spacebar and mouse button are pressed together, you can actually move that
particular Anchor Point ANYWHERE without moving the other anchor
points!.
I personally think this School Rumble image is hard to use for Vector Tracing
because it's blurry and has... rather washed out colors... This just makes the
process more difficult for you....
For people interested in getting a good feel in using the pen tool for vector
tracing, I'd recommend warming up with images like Akari page1 or
Akari page2.
There is no color to distract you with tracing. Manga images ARE NOT good for
this... they have shades of grey. It should be line art.
I hope these tips help.
Farbereise
vector trace in progress with original scan
This is in no way a finished work. I am still in the progress of adding all of
the elements and boarders to this vector trace. In the end, I want the Elf Girl
and the cat to be the end product. I am using Illustrator CS2 for this personal
project. On the top is my original scan. Below it are the border regions and my
prototype for coloring it.
My problem right now is deciding how to make the borders and regions for shading
and choosing the appropriate colors. I have taken some liberties and made her
hair more blond, but I need to change the shadded blond color. The light
contrast on her red vest isn't quite good, and the layers ontop of her shoulders
could probably be the same color. I'm not happy with the leather straps for the
sword scabard and stuff too.
I can't choose between the two. I use both PC's and Macs every day. Mac OS 10.3+
is significantly more stable than Microsoft Windows (2000, XP, Server 2003). But
I like the customizable side of the PCs. I typically have more than just one
Audio card in every PC, like the SWAPABLE boot drives (can change OS's from any
flavor of windows or Linux without having to worry about mutliple boot stuff).
And I can share all of my files on my Mac without problems to any of my Windows
OS computers.
I'm not going to pay attention to this war thing. My votes are for PS3 and WII
(former Nintendo Revlolution). But I will wait at least half a year after each
system's release to consider them to buy. Xbox 360 just doesn't interest me...
game play doesn't seem inovative or inventive from what I have seen in the
demo's in the store. It will be quality titles that get me to buy a system.
Laptop(Inspiron 9300): Sigma Tel C-Major built in + Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS.
Soundblaster pass through speaker doesn't function quite right. up to .5 second
delay in audio signal. No lag between headphones or external speakers. But this
laptop has a subwoofer.
Mac Powerbook G4: Um, what ever is default on this thing. I haven't a
clue.
Pentium 2 Desktop: Soundblaster Live! (PCI) and Sounblaster 16 AWE 64 (The
onbord synth sounds better than the software synth to my ears).
+ Have Soundblaster Extigy, but using that more as an external stereo system. :P
Content wise, this show is very rock solid. Voice acting is also very good. I
think a digital remastering of the original would help the show, as I found the
image clarity to be a little grainy.

She is a great character. The North American Voice actress fits Lala-Ru very
well. I felt compelled to watch the whole show. Only a few other shows
(Boogiepop Phantom) have been able to draw me into their world. It is definitely
on my Favorite list... (Shows so on my user page).
Different matter... Why isn't the "Image" button working in advanced.
I thought characters like Starship Girl Yohko Yamamoto (Yohko Yamamoto), Riku
Harada (DNAngel), Cagali, Lunamaria (Gundam SEED Destiny), Kizna Towryk
(Candidate for Goddess), Chloe (Tales of Legendia) were tomboys. I like that
they are more active than the "stereotype" women, tend to stand up for
themselves, and are more likely to have similar interests to myself.
Starbuck of the New Battle Star Galactica is also a cool tomboy.
Note: Yohko is also a Gamer gal. Can bribe her with video games. :P
These ads are totally screwing up the overall layout of the website. The
animated ones are super annoying. They're so annoying, I'd like an option,
donate money to remove ads (for a set amount of time or bandwidth usage).
Googles ads were not annoying and didn't bother me... However, if these Flash
ads continue... I don't know what I'll do.
First, these ads are messing up the layout CCS code of MT. My cursor in both new
Windows and Macintosh computers is slowing to a crawl. Second, and more serious
is that I have already seen a couple of these ads to not meet even the
old/original descency standards here at MT.
Like when I started reading this thread, there was an ad on the right hand side
showing cows rumping each other (having sex). I've seen other questionable
material from these ads too. If MT can not control what kind of ads these people
can and can't post on this site, I won't be the only angry member leaving the
community. Advertisers should have to adhere to the same decency standards that
we memebers follow.
I've read some translated Manga and have Volumes 1,2 and 4 in Japanese (even
though i can't read it). Zellie introduced me to this series. Yakumo Tsukamoto
(the tall, younger sister) is my favorite, but all of the characters are
likable.
I didn't think I would like Eri, but Volume 4 showed a side of her I hadn't seen
before... because I was just blinded by biased before that. Looking forward to
the DelRey translated Manga coming out sometime soon...
I don't know of any particular free sites for Ecchii/hentai images. I believe
you are asking for a site (or even a private host) who'd be willing to let you
POST your images so you can have those at Minitokyo interested in your works may
view and make suggestions on said works, and possibly what to modify to be able
to post it on Minitokyo.
Two possible solutions, get a web host and bite the bullet with the Identity
stuff, or host your own little website from home. With the web hosts (at least
for domain names) they can post their own information instead of your personal
Info for sites like "whois.com". The only time they would reveal your
identity is with a court order (in country of host) for offenses such as
Terrorism, or child pornography or something like that.
ooh, another "Moogle"! Kupo! I don't usually respond to these, but
when I see a user name with "moogle" in it... I just have to say
hello. Hope you like your stay at MT.
Quote by embershadowI think Firefox
is better, of course, but I still use IE for most things because Firefox doesn't
have the same CSS support that IE does, so you can't view sites with DIV
layers--and that's a lot of anime sites. So, yeah. If Firefox just changed that
little bit, then I would use it more. I was kind of disappointed when I found
that out...
The DIV tags... I.E. changes my DIV tag code to a
point I hate. Here's a
layout page that looks different in I.E. and Firefox.
This is the layout template for a story project I work on in my spare time...
Yes, that's a Renga image I found on MT... and I have the book too.
This page uses a lot of DIV tags. But the important one is the image of Oriha,
the text in the same DIV tag (div tag is called "feature" for those
nosy enough to look through the code). and the next set of div tags,
"story".
Play around with the width of your browser and notice how the text wraps around
the image in Opera (actually not W3 Complient, but a lot more so than I.E.),
Firefox (or any Mozilla based browser, Safari, Netscape, etc.) or any other W3
complient browser.
I.E. takes the full height of Oriha's image, and starts putting the text of the
"Feature" under her... this is not how I designed it. This just shows
that I.E. thinks for the designer, and "auto-corrects" for actual Div
tag errors like those Anime sites you refer to.
One other feature as a developer that I like about Firefox is the "View
Code" feature... it doesn't open up Notepad, or what ever your default text
editor is. It's a different window, code highlighted, and has helped me figure
out numerous bugs in Server script coding that writes tags and HTML
content.
I.E. does have it's uses... Windows Update is about the only real thing I use it
for personally... Professionally, I still have to make sure the site renders the
same or similar to the other browsers out there.

Not too surprised though...
last question... I read the Email Header Files to find where email came from and
add that to the fraud report I send to respective institutions.
But this is not the only problem. I was a victim of SSN theft, bank had linked
an over drawn account with mine by Social Security Number... only real problem
was, they tried to take out $139 (the bogus account) from an account with only
$35(mine). Was not charged for overdrafting, account closed in other city, and
lost no money. That's why I follow through with more details.
Moral of the story... don't target poor, starving college students. :P
Who said that raising gas/petrol prices would work? None of you seem to live
around the Los Angeles area. In spite of higher gas prices, the freeway system
is even more congested. I blame part of this on the increased aggitation of
drivers. They get into more accidents because their so pissed off.
One suggestion is to just be more curteous on the roads. My logic in this
simple... if traffic can be kept moving, there will only be slow downs, not one
big 20 mile parking lot. Bigger vehicles (say transport trucks, semis and the
like) should be given higher priority... and wasteful vehicles... Limos
espeically.... should be banned.
A little suprised on the first page, no one has mensioned the Automated vehicle
project, where computers make the decisions for the passengers and eliminate the
driver.

I
don't get how this is bad news for perverts in actuallity... They are only
stopping cirtain names of chat rooms from being formed. It does nothing about
screening content... or allowing users to take more agressive actions against
offensive users...
If yahoo wanted to take REAL action... they should either separate the
"Adult" users (those who have the adult user option active) or better
yet, remove that pile of poo from their service... They do not take actions
against offensive users who put down content that is disturbing, and their
disturbed "boyfriends"... I have personally had several...
uncomfortable encounters with cyber sex freaks on Yahoo... which is one of the
big reasons I don't like going on it.
Laptop users may be out of luck... This includes older legacy systems (P3 or
earlier) and currently all Mac Notebooks...
However, you failed to mention theres a soundcard for laptop users by
SoundBlaster... the Audigy 2 pcmcia card.
I have the Extigy too, (a USB sound card) but it sucks if you have a USB 1.1
connection... This newer pcmcia card doesn't have the latency issue of the
Extigy. The Extigy is currently being used as a sound amplifier for my Game
Cube set up with a legacy monitor and 2.1 speaker system.
It also has the MIDI Soundfonts (that I was happy with in the Soundblaster 64
ISA card and SoundBlaster Live!). and this PC card also supports up to 7.1
surround.
It has a feature to use your laptop's speakers... but I personally am finding a
lag time issue... However, when connected to the headphone port... there is no
lag.
they need to work on the laptop speaker issue... but overall it seems to get
more audio bang out of the speakers before shell resonance starts to interfere
with the audio produced by the speakers.
These dolls sort of reminds me of the dolls Chiaki Konaka (screen writer of Lain
